The Overhead Work Wall System has a sturdy metal track, which, when wall mounted, provides the holding position for overhead work tasks. The smooth swivel on wall mount allows 360° positioning of the task bar.

 

TASK SIMULATION

The Overhead Work Wall System is used to develop overhead work tolerance and as a subset in the functional capacity evaluation. This system is appropriate for workers who are engaged in repetitive activity that requires sustained raised hands position (examples include: carpenters, painters, welders, mechanics, machine operators, house caretakers, etc.)  

 

MUSCLE GROUPS

Muscle development depending upon application and work task simulation:

Deltoids

Scapular stabilizers

Finger and thumb musculature

Triceps

Upper trapezius

Wrist extensors

Scapular upward rotators

Pronators-supinators

Biceps  

 

HAND COORDINATION TASKS

Fine finger tasks

Unilateral and bilateral pinch grips

 

The Overhead Work Wall System increases tolerance for neck extension, trunck extension, standing or sitting. The position can be set to develop vertical, horizontal, or diagonal ability.
